You'll need: a stop watch and a deck or cards

Warm up:

4 min circuit

15 seconds speed skaters
30 seconds alternating shoulder touch (from plank possition tap opposite shoulder with your hand)
45 seconds Mt. climber
1 min wall sit
45 seconds Mt. climber
30 seconds alternating shoulder touch
15 seconds of speed skaters

* Make sure the deck of cards is shuffled. Flip one card over at a time and do the exercise that corresponds with the card suit, reps= card value....face cards 10 and aces 15.

Hearts= Plié squat (wide base toes point out and lower your bottom)
Diamonds= Reverse lunges (don't be a wuss right/left count as one)
Spades= Table makers ( from crab position raise your hips till you look like a sturdy table)
Clubs= Puma push ups (look it up if you don't know)

Cool down:

4 min circuit

15 seconds alternating knee to tricep from plank
30 seconds alternating high kicks
45 seconds simulate jump rope
1 min crab tap (from crab position alternate touching opposite hand to foot)
45 seconds simulate jump rope
30 seconds alternating high kicks

I was a little surprised when I heard. After all, we’re all very aware of the attention that WWE pays to women’s wrestling (ie a cursory glance every couple of weeks or so): why would a technically brilliant wrestler, revered the world over, want to move there?

And then you think about it. No matter how depressing the women’s division may be, the WWE is still the biggest professional wrestling stage. Of course Del Rey wants to work there.

Enjoying food

It struck me today how much I enjoy the food I eat daily. The actual food has not changed in well over a year just the serving size. Some might call how I eat a diet and think its nuts but for me it's just what I have to do to get where I want to be.

Ever since I started training for wrestling I understood my eating habits would need to change, I just didn't have the knowledge I needed. For me like many other people food is such a comfort that when I think about being on a diet I thought of sacrifice and starving.

That is completely not so....I've learned to be satisfied with all the delicious "healthy" options out there. don't get me wrong this took ten years, believe me many a day I had deams of the buffet and just wanting to be satisfied but I learned there is no food out there that will satisfy me when I get that feeling. I enjoy feeling good!

Christmas 2010 I figured it's the holidays I can indulge right??? 5 days later and a total of 35 Christmas cookies down I felt disgusting. I had to have a serious talk with myself about why I indulge to the point of uncomfort and decided then my body, head and heart all need to be on the same page. Why is my mind telling me go for it when my body is saying no more?

Once I got back home and into the swing of work, training and travel I kept in mind the little talk I have with myself. I felt great and with the help of a new trainer I was starting to get the results I wanted. I had more freedom in my diet since I was just given totals of protein, fat and carbs I had to hit in a day. I started experimenting with veggies and finding new and exciting things to do with oatmeal.

This past Christmas I was really worried with all the parties and family gatherings would I cave? Would I feel excluded from the holiday cheer without desert? Could I indulge a little and feel satisfied?

I am happy to report it was a breeze. I made smart decisions and didn't feel like I COULDNT have anything. I told myself I could have anything I wanted but I really thought about how it would make me feel after and most of the "crap" was not worth it. That's not to say I didn't eat any crap..I had one bite of three different deserts on Christmas day and was completely content.

Life is such a crazy process. I went 30 years with what I would call an un healthy relationship with food. I wish young Sara knew the things older Sara knows but that is all part of the process!

My main goal in 2012 is the WWE.

Ever since 2001 when I started training I've 100% dedicated myself to pro wrestling and being the BEST I can be. I am at a point now that if I don't at least try I will always wonder if I could make it in the WWE.

I have always been a beast in the gym but over the past few months along with my trainer I have completely changed the way I lift and workout. A lot of people have asked me to post my routine but since I really just follow a plan set up for me I wouldn't feel right sharing with the public. (I actually don't think I technically can anyways ).

Other than that what would you like out of me this year? A youtube channel perhaps???

Last year literally my dreams came true how can I top that? A youtube channel perhaps???

Perth Day1.

Orshould I say part one. I arrived at 1:30 A.M Wed the 23^rdafter collecting my luggage and getting past customs it was past 2then off the the place I would be staying for the rest of themorning. I was not tired after sleeping a large portion of the lastleg of the trip but forced myself to sleep the next few hours.

The day waspretty uneventful I got to go to a gym and do some cardio so I washappy as a girl could be and went to bed at about 3:30 local time.

I was allkinds of pumped finding out that 5 A.M the sun rises so after a goodamount of sleep I was ready to start my day.

Day 2ish

This is THEday Koala day! We went to this awesome park and you could go in theKoala exhibit and pet the Koalas and get super close...Can you see myexcitement?

Aftervisiting with the wombats and birds of all sorts (not my favorite) Iwas pretty much spent for the day.

I got checkedinto my hotel to find out I got upgraded to an apartment! I was sostoked..fridge, sink, next to the pool and laundry! What more could agirl ask for??

WI FI!

But it wasnot to be..apparently my computer will not allow me to connect to thenetwork here....WHAT THE HECK?

After a fewhours I gave up and went to the lobby to use the internet. Not theworst but the main reason I brought a laptop was so that I could useit!

After all thestress of trying to make it work I gave up and turned the TV on andwhat do I find?

The GoldenGirls!!! SCORE!

I was happyagain and dozed off for the night.

Too bad itwas not really night and only 4:30.

Day 3 I think

Up at 2:30 am

I found outabout a crazy staircase near the hotel called Jacobs Ladder and I wasdetermined to burn off my frustration from the previous day so around4:30 off I went.

I onlycounted about 250 step but it was a good workout and I was ready toconquer the day. Too bad the NHPW event was not for another 10 hours.

The rest ofthe day was spent at the grocery store and in bed watching ArrestedDevelopment. I knew I would need a nap so I tried my hardest but itwas not to be. As soon as I started to go my ride for the show washere. So off I went....I did manage to sleep a little on the way andafter a coffee I was good to go.

The match wasa mixed tag and my side managed to pick up the victory so that waspleasant.

I got to chatwith some good people and had a great time!

Then back tothe hotel. I could barely keep my eyes opened but I needed to dolaundry so after sorting out the correct change I was on my way tofreshness.

One load putme down $8! Crazy I know but laundry is my passion and clean is myobsession.

After about 5hours of sleep I was up again and off for a run to visit the warmemorial. I took my camera and got some awesome shots.....

Oh and if youcouldn’t tell Day 4

This turnedout to be my favorite day in Australia.

My big planfor the day was to go into the city and get a pedicure.

Thereceptionist was kind enough to find me a place and they hadavailability so I called to reserve my spot only to find out itwould cost $80!!!! What sort of pedicure are they giving you for $80?I was not willing to find out.

I wasn’tgoing to let that get me down though and the day turned out greatwithout the pampering.

I had freshlaundry and that ALWAYS equals :) I also got to talk with home,walked to a cafe and got to hang out with my ipod and my drink, readin the sun on the balcony of my room, went to the outlets andwrestled! I also scored some Subway and it was delicious! Not badright?

Last day

I got a goodnights sleep but up again at 5. No nap hopefully I will save that forthe 40 hours of travel that starts this evening.

After ainterval workout in my room (gotta do what you can). I decided toinvest in another load of laundry. You just cant put a price on thejoy that clean clothes brings.

In theafternoon I headed down to the slaughter house and home of NHPW for atraining session. I tweaked my back a bit rolling so the session wasnot too intense and seeing the house at and her kittens was thehighlight.

I was able tocatch a shower and smackdown before starting the journey home. IREALLY enjoyed entire two hour program and if you missed it youmissed out.

Onto theairport and the capitol of crap souvenirs. I figured the airportwould be the best place for all my Perth merchandise but was so letdown and picked up a big fat nothing.

Since Isomewhat adjusted to the time change and my flight was at 10:30 p.m Iwas abe to sleep almost the entire 10 hours.

After a 3hour layover in Dubai (one hour spent in line at security) I wassettled into the “long” part of my trip home. A whopping 13 hourflight. I was excited to find the seat next to me empty and the guywith the window seat was of very small stature so I took up the extraspace without guilt.

Not too muchsleep this go around thanks to a crying baby and incompetent parents.Also my little friend decided to drink and knocked himself out forthe last 7 hours. Fine but he snored like giant ape.

I landed inNYC annoyed with everything but prepared for a 5 hour layover. Oncethrough customs, security and a freshening up I was on the missionfor Starbucks. Starbucks did indeed make me feel better and lessanxious. I do want the travel over but the edge has been taken off.

Overall I hada blast! Perth is beautiful and if you are into travel make a pointto see it.

Hopefully Ican catch up on my sleep and workouts before I leave for Joshimaniaon Friday!!!!

I made it! 30 plus hours of travel but all in all not bad. I watched so many movies as you can imagine...Did anyone else think Red Riding Hood was weird?

I guess I should shower and try to sleep or adjust to the time change since it's 3 am here but i have this mad energy. Maybe it was the delicious Dubai coffee I have been drinking for the past 2 days. On my layover I figured I would get a cup too then the guy told em it would be 8 bucks American and I had to look a fool and just walk away. I'm sure he understood.

I can't wait to see what this city has to offer!

This morning did not hold a ton of promise for a good day.

While preparing breakfast my cat puked three times each time including more stomach vile..bile..acid..whatever..you know what I'm saying (so hard to get out of the carpet).

Next I go to bring the trash canister in to find that the garbage man did NOT pick it up and instead a band of reckless and probably rabid animals tore it apart. So I spent the next few minutes collecting trash.

With no hopes of the day getting better I get the news below!

My my how things change....

Aja was the first girl I saw be a brute in the ring, she inspired, motivated and drove me to be what I am today.

To say I am excited would be a understatement.

Joshimania could be the last thing I do in wrestling and I would be happy all thanks to this.

Don't get excited I'm not retiring or anything just saying this is BIG to me.

First of all this is coming from my phone so if predict a text takes over just play along.

As some of you know I was in beautiful Los Angels this weekend for DCW. I had a great time, the staff, fans and wrestlers were all awesome and I hope I can come back again.

But....

The travel, not so awesome. The first leg of my three part journey was great. I was on southwest and boarding group B (S) on a full flight so had no hopes for a good seat. Apon boarding a large gentleman asked if I wanted the window seat in his isle because he was isle and bought two tickets for the extra room he required. I was pumped because he was like 3rd row and I like getting of the plane quick.

Happily I settled in and off we went!

The flight itself was in eventful, along with the layover and part two.

Onto part three and the ISSUE. Full flight again no worries I was in a good front isle seat and the last leg was under two hours. Enter a LARGE woman who asked if the center seat was taken. It was not so happily I got up and let her in not realizing how great her size was.

She needed the arm rest up to fit into the space provided. I don't want to be a jerk or make a sceen so I politely squeezed into the remanded of my seat. As I sat there fuming that one I had no place to rest my arm and two that now 1/3 of my provided and paid for space was now being occupied I wondered who's responsibility it was?

I felt bad complaining so I didn't but made sure to give my most oblivious " I'M SO UNCOMFORTABLE" face every time the stewards passed.

NOTHING!

I understand its a sensitive situation and no one wants to be the bad guy (except Razor Ramon) but really. Someone needs to step up and say "hey...you need two seats"!

No not really but I just heard Arrested Development is coming back with 10 new episodes and a movie. I am so down with this!!!

My day is winding down and I have some time before I can eat so I thought I would spend it with you. Does it feel like a Saturday to anyone else?

Don't hate me but I decided not to go with any original Death Rey gun shirts in 2X...The difference was almost twice as much as S-XL and I would feel pad passing that on to you. Maybe one day I will have billions of dollars and be able to print shirts in all sizes but today is not that day. To all you S-XL types keep your eyes peeled...Is that a saying?

Good or bad sign..I saw a new fabulous Chiropractor on Wednesday and he insisted I come back today (Friday)???

I was hoping he heard tale of my amazing ability to break boards with my bare feet, hands and uh head..whatever. It was not the case just wanted me freshly aligned for the weekend.

Are in the bag..or the can..I don't know how the saying goes but they are done!

It didn't occur to me until the announcer declared "For the Main event of Volume 43, Madison Eagles and Sara Del Rey vs. Ayako Hamada and Ayumi Kurihara" that we were that many volumes deep. I thought to my self dear God I have been on them all.

I would really hate to be struck with the truth about how many matches I have had in my entire career. Not that I'm not proud or anything but I still feel I have so far to go and so much more to learn.

I was all set to do a full review on my thought and happenings from this past weekend but I find myself at a loss of words. It might be the fact that my contacts are driving me CRAZY and looking at this screen does not help. I will just simply say Thank You to everyone for all the passion and dedication that gets put into this project. From the fans to the wrestlers, the people behind the cameras and behind the scenes everyone give give gives and it is appreciated more thank a simple Thank You can cover.

But that's what I got so there it is!

The wrestling fun continues this weekend when CHIKARA goes on the road. First Friday October 8th in Burlington, Nc and then Saturday October 9th in QUEENSport (or Kingsport ), Tn!

You don't want to miss either of these matches..TRUST ME!

I must admit I was horrible at taking pictures so forgive me please. Japan was amazing as you all can imagine, looking back much of it was a blur and the days sorta ran together becasue I had a real hard time adjusting to the time difference. Landing in Japan was an experience in itself. As some of you know a Typhoon hit Tokyo and wouldn't you know it my pilot thought he could land without a problem. After first considering a re route to Seoul or Osaka it was determined we could make it. Our first attempt was scary to say the least...grown men and women screaming in terror and as you can imagine loosing their complementary meals. The second attempt was a success and I was back in Japan ready to rumble!The day of our first event we got to go watch a live OZ Academy show and it was awesome. SO many stars were on this show AJA, Manami, AKINO to name a few and of course my old friend MIKA NISHIO

The first match I had was a tag match with MIa Yim vs. The Canadian Ninjas. I thought it want well and the Ninjas deserved the win. I have seen photos from this match but don't have any of my own so if you have some to share please message me!

Day two's event was right after an Ice Ribbon show and again was treated to catching up with a friend Tsukasa Fujimoto!!!

I really enjoyed the nights match and think the tag of Rey Ray MUST happen again somewhere...Hey we are undefeated as a team that should qualify us as challenges to someones tag titles right?

Day four we were off to beautiful OSAKA, our last event of the trip and my singles with HOTTA. I was pretty confident after picking up the victory the night before but it was not to be. Technically I can contest her win becasue she picked up the victory via choke but I'll give her that one since after the match she said some very nice things about me on the microphone that she didn't have to do. Sometimes it not whether you win or loose and having HOTTA praise my wrestling in my book is better than and technical victory. After the match she was all smiles

The last day of the tour we were guests at a WAVE show. I was so excited to see my old training partner and soon to be opponent KANA. The reunion was great and we have both grown and changed so much in the past six years, if i was excited before to face her in the ring I don't know what to call what I am now. I have a feeling it will be something special! Happy for now but no smiles once we are in the ring....

That was a very quick review of the trip and so much happened but as you can imagine I have a million and one things to do before SHIMMER so I will leave you with that for now and maybe catch you up on more details later.

I do want to take a minute to thank the S Ovation office for making the trip so much fun and really taking care of me, no words can describe my gratitude!

This morning the Starbucks Gold Coast was brewing in my kitchen and it got me all pumped for the day. I have tons of energy and nothing to do with it. I guess giving my keyboard a workout is as good a way as any. I would normally go to the gym and today is leg day but I have a date later on in the day with that and my trainer has me only doing cardio every other day. Don't ask my why...

Yesterday I must admit I KILLED it! I went through a deck of cards in record time. For those of you that don't know that's when you assign an exercise to a suite and do that exercise in the amount that the card represents. Aces being 15 and all face cards being 10. I did table makers, squats, lunges and sit ups. Normally I would have push ups in the mix but figured I should spread the wealth since I was going chest later on at the gym. Everything was going good until the dreaded butt burn! Not as gross as you can imagine but definitely not cool or comfortable either. Let me explain, I was doing my situps so fast that the very spot my butt/lower back and the floor met created friction and I was the unfortunate recipient or mat burn. For those of you that have never had it consider yourselves lucky. The shower I must admit has never been quite so painful.

Today I'm feeling a little better and don't foresee my injury holding me back from anything besides maybe the pool. I will still probably grab a book and go enjoy what sun is left. Yesterday I finished "A Lion's Tale" by Chris Jericho and need to start another before my travels. If you are like me it takes you awhile to get really into a book so I sorta need to force myself through the first few chapters. Any suggestions?

As some of you may have seen on my Twitter or Facebook on October 8th, in Kingsport Tennessee, for CHIKARA I will be facing my former training partner and overall bad ass Kana! I am more than excited for this and can't wait to punish my old friend. I was looking through some of my old pictures and found a few more that were fun...

Man have I been busy...

and I LOVE it! I have been working on lots of projects and picking up my cardio game. Needless to say I feel accomplished and motivated.

One project I've been working on was organizing my DVDs. I knew I had some great stuff but I didn't know the extent until now. I am so jealous of my collection.... I feel like a proud parent who's kid just went potty all on their own. I can not express enough how important it is for all wrestlers or people who want to be wrestlers to watch tapes. No, footage of yourself does not count!

I guess the other big thing you would be interested in is my return to JAPAN!

I am not sure how many of you frequent the SHIMMER message boards but as announced by the Shimmer Office "The Ninjas are going to Japan!!!" Mia Yim and Sara Del Rey will be there too.

It's about time I eat something so until we meet again loyal readers.

If you follow me on Twitter I'm sitting at the Atlanta airport. I had a few great suggestions of things to do like eat, roundhouse kick people or play games. All will only hold my attention or keep me occupied for 20 min max. I decided to be productive and write a blog!

It's been awhile so I wouldn't even know where to start on catching you up so let's just talk about what's happening now. This very moment not much...just trying to stay out of conversations with friendly strangers also charging their phones.

Wrestling has been kicking my butt in a good way. I'm enjoying trying and doing new things and hopefully that will all continue. I think with anything you do a lot of your feelings about it waver right now I'm on a wrestling high!

Personally things are going great too. My training has been kicked up and my diet has been changing so that keeps me on my toes and interested. It's a little stressful being on the road and trying to hit my diet numbers but I'm working it out and finding new tricks. I used to be worried about traveling with hard boiled eggs but discovered they are good for a few days without being refrigerated! GREAT NEWS RIGHT?

Speaking of great news I am now a proud gold card member at Starbucks! Maybe some of you are shocked this is new for me and really I should have had it a long time ago but I didn't.

I feel this blog can not go on anymore and I must immediately find a Starbucks so that's going to happen.

This is HUGE and I am so excited to be a part of Ring of Honor and this movement in Wrestling!

RING OF HONOR ANNOUNCES SALE TO SINCLAIR BROADCAST GROUP

BRISTOL, PA. (MAY 21, 2011)–Ring of Honor Wrestling owner, Cary Silkin, announced today the sale of the promotion to Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., one of the largest television broadcasters in the country and which owns and operates, programs, or provides sales services to 58 television stations in 35 markets across the United States.

ROH, currently the third largest wrestling promotion in the country, just celebrated its ninth anniversary, and Mr. Silkin is excited about taking the next step towards increasing the company’s visibility and expanding its operations.

“We have been waiting for and working for this opportunity for quite some time”, he said, “and of our 9 years in business, there has been no better roster of wrestlers than this one to expose the ROH product to the masses. With Sinclair’s resources and many avenues of distribution, we believe many new fans around the world will be as captivated as those who have followed Ring of Honor over the years.”

The month of September will see the debut of the new Ring of Honor television program which will be syndicated across the Sinclair network of stations, and with it, ROH will become the only wrestling promotion in the United States with a major, multi-market presence on broadcast TV. But if you don’t live in a market with a Sinclair station, fear not, says Mr. Silkin. “Through our revamped website we will be able to make the TV show available to anyone in the world with internet access.”

Sinclair officials are enthused about the project as well.

“We are very excited about this acquisition,” commented Steve Marks, COO of Sinclair’s Television Group. “Television and professional wrestling have a long history of successful partnerships and driving viewership. Unfortunately, the broadcast networks have not protected that relationship, allowing professional wrestling to migrate to cable network distribution. We believe that the powerful promotional platform that our TV stations provide, coupled with our 22% share of the U.S. TV households, will allow ROH to achieve name brand recognition and grow its share of the wrestling market. When you consider the makeup of our station mix and the number of CW, MYTV and FOX affiliates we operate, this is a perfect fit for our viewer demographics.” Mr. Marks also noted, “Longer-term, we can envision syndicating ROH wrestling to broadcasters in markets where Sinclair does not have a presence, and even internationally.”

Mr. Silkin assures the ROH fans worldwide that they will be seeing the same exciting, hard-hitting style of pro wrestling that they have become accustomed to. “We have established the name Ring of Honor as synonymous with the best in-ring action in the sport. The only thing that will change is that it will now be easier for fans around the world to follow. Our visibility will increase greatly–our production will be upgraded–but the work ethic of our incredible talent roster and our athletic style of wrestling will remain the same. This is what our fans have told us they want, and we will continue to give it to them.”

The current front office staff, including Cary Silkin, Syd Eick, and Ross Abrams, will remain with ROH going forward. Hunter Johnston, a favorite of ROH fans for years as the masked grappler Delirious, will still handle matchmaking, Jim Cornette will remain as executive producer, and other familiar faces like ring announcer Bobby Cruise and senior referee Todd Sinclair will be in place.”

Additionally, longtime wrestling broadcaster Kevin Kelly, already the voice of ROH internet pay-per-views, will assume the TV play-by-play chair this fall. Veteran NWA and WCW promoter Gary Juster will come aboard to be in charge of live event operations, which are planned to continue in current ROH markets as well as expanding into new locations concurrent with the increased TV exposure.

Mr. Cornette, who along with Mr. Johnston, will be in charge of talent and matchmaking, sees this as a new beginning for pro wrestling. “This is not old-school wrestling, and it’s not sports entertainment,” said Mr. Cornette. “This is wrestling for the 21st century, a new style developed by fresh, young stars that incorporates wrestling, mixed martial arts and high-flying, high-risk action with unique personalities, and it’s showcased by a sports-based presentation completely different from any other product out there. In my 30 years in the sport, it’s the most exciting live-event wrestling experience I’ve seen, and I’m thrilled to help bring it to broadcast TV.”

A major press conference, open to wrestling press and mainstream media alike, is being planned for Baltimore on Friday, June 24th. This event will feature a number of the ROH staff and wrestlers both announcing news about ROH’s future and answering questions. The media event will be presided over by new ROH COO, Joe Koff. Mr. Koff, a longtime Sinclair executive with an extensive background in TV sales and management, also has experience in pro wrestling television production and syndication. Most visible of his projects may have been the first-ever live, prime time syndicated pro wrestling events, the Battle of the Belts, which aired from 1985 to 1987. These Championship Wrestling from Florida-based cards were broadcast live to a syndicated network of stations and may be best-remembered for the classic Ric Flair vs. Barry Windham NWA World Title contest from St. Petersburg.

The press event will kick off a weekend which includes ROH’s next internet pay-per-view event, “Best In The World 2011,” live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Sunday, June 26th at 4PM EST. In addition to all the top stars on the ROH roster, this event will feature the return of some favorite stars from Ring of Honor’s past, and can be ordered by anyone in the world with internet access through Gofightlive.tv for only $14.95. 4/21/2011: Hello all! It’s your CHIKARA Director of Fun, here, Wink Vavasseur! I thought I’d pop in and give you all a quick post-KOT update. First of all, let me say how interesting it was to meet so many of you this past weekend. King of Trios 2011 was such a successful event, and much of the credit goes to you guys, the fans. Of course, I suppose, a lot of credit goes to the incredibly talented wrestlers, too. And, though I’m a very modest person, I’d be remiss to not expect a bit of the credit to go to me. So, credit all around! And a special note to everyone who had their picture taken with me: if I blinked in your photo, just remember that a blink is like two WINKs for the price of one! Ha! Also, please send a copy of your picture to me at VavasseurW@gmail.com. I’ve got a wall of pictures in my office of me posing with celebrities, titans of industry, and world dignitaries. Women’s wrestling still exists in today’s mainstream shows, but what passes for female grappling these days is usually more about eye candy than athleticism. Recently, however, a new indie promotion has emerged to help remind fans what women’s wrestling is really all about.
With its first DVD release, ArenaChicks, Volume 1, ArenaChicks features some of the top talent in underground female wrestling. Filmed in conjunction with the Carolina Wrestling Federation Mid-Atlantic shows in Burlington, N.C., the seven matches included on the first ArenaChicks DVD are from different shows, but form one cohesive collection.
With ArenaChicks executive producer Amber O’Neal providing commentary alongside Amber Gertner (best known for her interview segments for Shimmer Women Athletes wrestling), this DVD includes talents such as Allison Danger, Sara Del Rey, Angel Orsini and others previously seen in Shimmer, Women Superstars Uncensored and other prominent indies. And while match-ups such as Del Rey vs. Danger and Orsini vs. Jessica Havok are impressively hard-hitting bouts, it’s the intergender tag match pitting O’Neal and Chiva Kid against Kellie Skater and Coach Gemini (aka CWF Mid-Atlantic’s Gemini Kid) that proves the ArenaChicks are just as tough as their male counterparts.
The main event also features teams of male and female combatants doing battle in The Dating Game Match, where the winners get to go on a date together. Sure, it’s silly, but the match is great and the actual date is included as a bonus feature. Another bonus match is an eight-woman tag match featuring the likes of O’Neal, Danger, Persephone, Becky Bayless (aka Total Nonstop Action’s Cookie) and Talia Madison (aka TNA’s Velvet Sky), to honor the late Sherri Martel.
ArenaChicks will also be appearing at the Cape Fear Tattoo and Arts Expo April 29-May 1, filming matches for their second DVD on April 30 with former WWE and TNA star Shelly Martinez as guest referee. And this weekend, Cookie will be making an ArenaChicks appearance as a guest bartender alongside O’Neal at Lucky’s Tavern in Jacksonville, N.C.

For 4 hours at the Cleveland airport I figured I could be productive. So here I am, let me communicate first how dumb this delay is considering the flight is only 30 min! It's a situation like this that makes me happy I pack all my own food. I'll just keep my fingers crossed my chicken will still be good tomorrow... if I should fall violently ill we all will know the reason.

Yesterday when WE took center stage I had just about zero time to process everything. It wasn't until this morning that I could look back and really reflect on the events. First I am so blessed an honored that ROH gave (and will again today give) the fans women's WRESTLING! I was really proud of the effort Serena and I gave and even though we lost I think we won.

Onto the Kings.... What a year! A full year as ROH tag champs, I am so proud of them. What an exciting match with wgtt..it just goes to show everything is done for a reason. When other companies think tag wrestling is dead we get to go out and shut them up!

This past month of wrestling has really inspired, motivated and brought my passion back so thank you to everyone involved!

Almost caught up

on my sleep! Nothing can beat sleeping in your own bed....I got just about three hours of sleep total over the Shimmer weekend and let me saw I an NOT a fan of that.

I touched down back in Philly early yesterday morning but needed to head straight to the gym so no time to recover just moved forward. Like you saw in my earlier post the unstoppable team of Serena Deeb and Sara Del Rey will take on the best Joshi has to offer Ayumi Kurihara and Hiroyo Matsumoto this Friday April 1st in Atlanta when Honor takes Center Stage! I’m not just saying this because of my involvement but this is HUGE! This is an AWESOME direction for the Women of Honor and to get to display what is sure to the best women's wrestling of the weekend on IPPV as well is over the top! As a wrestling fan I am excited and if I was not going to be there I would be sure to watch so I hope for all you reading this that is the case too.

After watching ROH on Saturday if you are in the Marietta, Oh area you NEED to come down and support Remix Pro Wrestling. My scheduled match vs. Mickie James had to be changed due to injury she sustained from some cheap broke down want to be Queen. I am really bummed and the only thing that lifted my spirits was to hear that I now get to face Madison the discount Queen Rayne instead. So have no fear I will beat this little girl down and make it worth your while to check out!

Women of Honor Matches Set For Atlanta

Coming off a successful weekend of SHIMMER DVD tapings for Volumes 37-40, ROH/SHIMMER officials have set a pair of tag matches for this weekend in Atlanta when “Honor Takes Center Stage”!

On Friday night April 1st, the team that was victorious at “Final Battle 2010”, Sara Del Rey & Serena Deeb, will take on the Japanese duo from S-Ovation, Hiroyo Matsumoto & Ayumi Kurihara! Del Rey & Deeb proved themselves a tough team when they defeated Daizee Haze & Amazing Kong back in December. Can they put up the same challenge against the Japanese fighting women?

Then, on Saturday April 2nd, the newly crowned SHIMMER Tag Team Champions, Daizee Haze & Tomoka Nakagawa, will defend their titles against Matsumoto & Kurihara! It’s the opportunity of a lifetime for Matsumoto & Kurihara to take the SHIMMER titles back to Japan with them, especially considering Matsumoto got a taste of being a champion over the weekend, holding the tag belts for a day with Misaki Ohata before being beaten by Haze & Nakagawa, but Haze & her partner aren’t going to let the belts slip away so quickly.

“We fought hard for these belts over the weekend, and we are not about to let our title reign come to an end so fast.” said Daizee Haze, “I watched Matsumoto & Kurihara closely and saw what kind of fight they have to bring. I know that Tomoka and I are more than ready.”

3/25/2011: Over-qualified!

It's been proven, I don't need to go on and on about it, because really it's simple. The real question I struggle with is why would someone NOT vote for me? Jealousy? Maybe...Scared? Probably! CHIKARA has tried it's best to keep me and the Bruderschaft down for the past year but my stock has continued to rise - earning three points with Daizee Haze and beating the best CHIKARA had to offer.

I'm tired of going around in circles, its time to show the world what I can do. No division by gender or weight class - everyone is on an even playing field. That championship title belt would look perfect around my waist, and the people in each locker room know that just as much as the fans do.

The popularity of the VDK is proof how desperate fans are to see me! So do the right thing...vote right, vote Sara Del Rey!
